FAQ

Short answers for Shoverlay, Gablet, VeeCam, and Kingfont software.

What software does Kingfont make?

Kingfont builds focused software for everyday computer work: Shoverlay for screenshots and capture, Gablet for window management, and VeeCam for camera, drawing, and presentation.

Where can I download the apps?

Shoverlay and VeeCam ship on the Mac App Store. Open the product page and use Download on the Mac App Store.

Capture, recording, or camera does nothing. Why?

Grant Screen Recording, Camera, and/or Microphone to that app in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then quit and reopen the app.

Does VeeCam use the built-in FaceTime camera?

VeeCam is for an external USB document camera, visualizer, or UVC webcam. It is not a built-in FaceTime camera tool, and it is not a screen recorder.

Why won’t windows move in Gablet?

Grant Accessibility to Gablet in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then quit and reopen the app. Gablet needs it to throw, snap, stash, and pin windows.

Files will not save. What should I check?

The first save to Downloads, Desktop, or Documents may ask for folder access. You can also choose a folder each time in Settings.

How do I get more help?
