Stream Vizo to Restream on Mac

Open Restream’s RTMP encoder settings, paste the URL and stream key into Vizo, then publish the current view.

Vizo can publish the current Present or Scan view over RTMP. Restream gives you a server URL and a stream key. Paste those into Vizo, publish, and Restream receives the stream. From there you can relay to YouTube and many other destinations.

You need a Restream account and Vizo on the Mac. A normal camera works for the picture you publish.

Get the Restream RTMP URL and stream key

Sign in at app.restream.io.
Open Home and choose Stream via RTMP (OBS, Vmix, Zoom) — or create that stream with + New Stream if you do not have one yet. Vizo is the encoder.
On Connect your encoder, keep RTMP selected (RTMPS, SRT, and WHIP are also listed).
Copy the RTMP URL (for example rtmp://live.restream.io/live) and the Stream key. Keep the stream key private.

Publish from Vizo

Open Vizo and set up the view you want on air — Camera, Board, Tiles, or Scan.
Open Live Stream.
Paste the Restream RTMP URL and the Stream key.
Choose Publish. Vizo sends the current view to Restream.

Confirm the stream on Restream

Return to the Restream RTMP stream page.
When Vizo is publishing, the encoder status leaves Offline and the preview updates. Stream health and resolution appear under the preview.
Leave Vizo publishing while you want Restream to receive the input. Stop Publish in Vizo to end it.
