Minimizing a window hides it in the Dock, which is a poor place to remember why you hid it. Stash slides the window off the screen and keeps it easy to bring back.
Stash what is in the way
- Stash one side when that half of the display is the clutter.
- Stash everything but the window you are using when you need a clear screen for a minute.
- Cycle through what you hid when you want a specific window back and you do not want the whole pile at once.
The window is off-screen, not closed. Bring it back when the reference or the message matters again.
Use a different action for a different problem
If the window should occupy half the screen, throw it or snap it. If it should stay visible on top of the others, that is a pin in Shoverlay for an image, or Pin Mode in Gablet for a live window. Stash is specifically for getting a window out of sight without losing it.
