Save a Vizo scan as PDF, Word, Excel, or an image

After you scan, choose JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, or PPTX and save the file on your Mac.

Export format is the last step of a scan. Choosing Document, Book, Card, or Snapshot is a separate step. OCR language can sit next to the format menu when the destination needs text.

Pick the format

Finish the Document, Book, Card, or Snapshot capture.
Open the format menu. Choose an image (JPEG, PNG, TIFF), PDF, DOCX, XLSX, or PPTX.
Set the OCR language if you are sending text into Word or similar.
Scan or save. The file stays in the folder you chose.

A normal camera works. A document camera is steadier and clearer for paper.
