A table inside a PDF is easy to read and annoying to reuse. Selecting it often copies a line of text with no columns. Tablune opens the PDF on iPhone or iPad, finds the table, and saves an Excel sheet. Coming soon, with a 7-day free trial, on iOS 15.6 or later.
Open the PDF
- Get the PDF into Tablune from Files, from the share sheet, over Wi-Fi, from the built-in browser, or from a URL.
- Tap the PDF. It opens immediately.
- Start the table scan on the page that holds the grid.
If the PDF is a scan of paper rather than real text, treat it like a photo: the camera-style recognition still has to see the rows. A clear page works better than a skewed one.
Export after you trust the cells
Tap a cell that looks wrong and correct it before you export. Add a missing row or column. Then share or save as Excel. You still have the PDF in Tablune if you need to check the original.
What this does not do
Tablune is not a general cloud library, and it is not a Mac screenshot tool. It manages files on the iPhone or iPad and turns tables into sheets. ZIP and RAR are for packing those files, not for reading a table.
