Comparing two printouts is awkward when you have to slide one sheet off the camera to see the other. Tiles keep several views on screen at once.
Choose how many panes
VeeCam can show 2, 4, or 6 panes. Fill a pane with the live camera, with a snapshot you just took, or with an image you import. That is enough to hold a student’s sheet next to the answer, or this year’s form next to last year’s.
Hide what you are not talking about
Masks cover a region or spotlight the region you want the room to look at. Use a mask when the rest of the page would give away the answer, or when only one diagram matters.
The camera still has to be external
Tiles read from a USB document camera, visualizer, or UVC webcam, plus images you import. VeeCam does not use the built-in FaceTime camera for this. Freeze or zoom a pane if the paper shifts. Files you save stay on your Mac.
Install VeeCam on the Mac App Store. macOS 11.5 or later.
