Fullscreen capture is the entire display. Use it when the layout of the whole screen is the point. Use an area or a window when you only need part of it.
Take the display
- Arrange the screen the way the picture should look. Move or hide anything you do not want seen.
- Choose Fullscreen from the Shoverlay menu or the picker.
- Shoverlay captures that display.
On a Mac with more than one display, capture the display you are shooting, not a window that happens to sit on it. Desktop icons and a busy wallpaper will be in the picture unless you hide them first.
Permission
Screen Recording is required. After you allow it, quit Shoverlay and open it again.
Install Shoverlay on the Mac App Store.
